You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out

There are seasons when life feels uncertain. You pray for direction, but the answer doesn’t come as clearly or as quickly as you hoped. You look at other people and it seems like they know exactly where they’re going, while you’re still trying to figure out your next step.
But maybe God isn’t asking you to understand the entire journey. Maybe He’s simply asking you to trust Him with today.
We often want God to show us the whole plan before we move. We want reassurance that everything will work out, that we’re making the right decision, and that there won’t be any unexpected turns along the way. But faith doesn’t always come with a detailed map.
Sometimes faith is praying even when you’re tired of waiting. It’s choosing peace when your mind is full of “what ifs.” It’s taking one small step forward even when you can’t see what comes after it.
Remember, God sees what you cannot see. He knows what is ahead, what needs to change, what needs to stay, and what He is preparing you for. A season that feels confusing to you may still be a season where God is quietly working.
So if you’re feeling behind, uncertain, or overwhelmed today, don’t pressure yourself to have everything figured out. Bring your worries to God. Ask Him for wisdom. Do what you can today, and trust Him with what you cannot control.
You may not know exactly where the road is leading, but you can trust the One who is leading you.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7
Today’s reminder: You don’t need to see the whole staircase to take the next step. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep walking with God. He is already in the places you’re worried about reaching.
