"I will delight in your decrees and not forget your word."
There is a quiet kind of joy that comes from meeting God in His Word each morning.
When the psalmist writes, "I will delight in your decrees," he is not describing a duty but a discipline that has become a delight. The two are not opposites — devotion, practiced faithfully, grows into love.
Today, open your journal. Write the verse. Sit with it. Ask the Spirit to make it come alive. The Word is not a burden to carry but a light to walk by.
