"If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one?"
The gospel is not the story of a distant God waiting for us to find our way home. It is the story of a Shepherd who searches the hills, calling us by name.
If you feel far today, take heart. He is already looking for you. He always has been.
